THIS FIRST SOLO ALBUM WAS RECORDED IN 1973 UNDER THE A &M LABEL AND SHOWCASED HIS SKILL ON ACOUSTIC AND ELECTRONIC KEYBOARD INSTRUMENTS. HE WAS MORE INTO MELODIES BECAUSE HE CAN'T WRITE LYRICS. HE GOT THE IDEA FOR THIS ALBUM AFTER READING THE BOOK "THE PRIVATE LIFE OF HENRY VIII" THE MUSIC IS 16th CENTURY FLAVOR WITH AN ORCHESTRAL FEEL BUILT AROUND WITH HIS MOOG SYNTHESIZER, HAMMOND ORGAN MELLOTRON SOUND. YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO IT FOR A NUMBER OF TIMES TO FEEL THE STORYLINE.
