HERBIE MANN-TURTLE BAY

HERBIE MANN WAS A WIDEN KNOWN AMERICAN FLAUTIST AND WAS INTO JAZZ, ROCK AND WORLD MUSIC WAY BACK IN THE 1960's.

HE DEVELOPED HIS MUSICAL EXPERIENCE DURING MILITARY SERVICE.

MOST OF THE MUSICIANS THAT PLAYED ON HIS ALBUMS ARE THE BEST KNOWN SESSION PLAYER IN THE MUSIC WORLD LIKE BILL EVANS, DUANE ALLMAN, CHICK COREA.....etc.

THE MUSIC ON THIS ALBUM IS FUNKY WITH A SELECTIONS OF R&B HITS WITH LOW KEY FLUTE WORKS.

THIS 74th ALBUM OF HIS, WAS RECORDED IN 1973 UNDER THE ATLANTIC LABEL.

One of my favorite musicians. He recorded the "Push Push" album with Duane Allman. Larry Coryell guested on the "Memphis Underground" album. Both are collectors' classics.
