The myths and legends of King Arthur and the knights of the round table was recorded in 1974 and released in 1975 under the A&M label.
There is a booklet with a story on each of the title.
This concept album tells the epic story of the legendary King Arthur and is one of Rick Wakeman best works.
The live theatrical show on ice based on this album was a total failure and caused him to go bankrupt.
The music is progressive symphonic classical rock with highly dramatic musical themes.
My fave song is "Merlin the magician"

A great concept album and follow-up to 'Journey to the center of the earth'. And yes, this extravagant project bankrupted him!
Z-he was too ambitious!
